Join the Society for Anomalous Studies for this fundraising events to support the Janesville Senior Center through the first public, paranormal investigation of the Janesville Senior Center which is the former Janesville Public Library.

Funded in part by a grant by Andrew Carnegie, the building was constructed in 1902. This Neoclassical designed building was more than just a library as it was the home for many organizations including the Apollo Club and also the Janesville Little Theater.

This fundraiser will give the public the opportunity to be a part of a real paranormal investigation guided by SAS team members. SAS is a team of experienced paranormal investigators based in Southern Wisconsin since 2011. The team has conducted paranormal investigations at a number of historically significant building in Illinois, Wisconsin and other locations throughout the United States.

Participants in this event will learn about and be able to use equipment from SAS’s large collection including IR and full spectrum video cameras, EMF meters, audio recorders, spirit boxes and other unique equipment designed for paranormal studies. This is an opportunity to be one of a limited number of participants who will experience a real life, hands on paranormal investigation.

Included in the price of the investigation ticket is admission to the Friday, October 13th Reveal Presentation and Dinner where SAS will show any evidence captured from the investigation of the building.

The investigation is limited to 25 people; however, additional tickets for just the reveal presentation/dinner will be available for the public to purchase at $10 for senior center members and $15 for non-members.
