About Downtown Janesville
Revitalization Through Cooperation
Destination Downtown Janesville is a joint project of Downtown Janesville, Inc., a volunteer-run non-profit dedicated to the activation and beautification of downtown; the Downtown Janesville Business Improvement District (BID), a public-private partnership that supports downtown economic vitality, and ARISE Now, a public-private partnership that strengthens the implementation of the City’s ARISE plan.

Downtown Janesville, Inc.
DJI is a non-profit organization whose goal is to activate downtown Janesville, WI. Made up of civic and community leaders and downtown business people, DJI is dedicated to the continued growth and development of Janesville’s historic downtown.
Business Improvement District
BID was established to support, revitalize, and grow the businesses contained within the downtown district. The BID partners with DJI on many of its initiatives.
ARISE Now
ARISE is a bold vision for downtown Janesville’s long-term future, solidly grounded in community engagement and focused on feasible action steps. The ARISE plan is intended to position downtown Janesville as a vibrant neighborhood where commerce, culture, entertainment, and history intersect.
