Tell us about your business:
J.C. Heating and Cooling, Inc. started in 1997 by Jason Cox when he was just 27 years old. After serving in the Army and earning an Associate's degree, he uses that knowledge and 21 years of experience to provide customers with all the support they need. Our focus has always been serving you with honesty and integrity. Our family-owned and operated business is dedicated to treating our customers to high-quality work at competitive prices. Most of our customers are referrals from our existing customers. We are a small local contractor providing installation and service to area light commercial and residential customers. We provide products in the HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and boiler industries.
Why did you choose to locate downtown?
Choosing our downtown Janesville location was a strategic decision driven by our deep roots in the community and our business needs. Beyond the practical advantages of a well-suited building, we were drawn to the vibrant atmosphere and central accessibility of downtown. As lifelong residents, we understand the pulse of Janesville, and locating our HVAC company here allows us to better serve our fellow community members. While renovations have enhanced our space, our choice reflects a deeper commitment to being an integral part of downtown's revitalization. From here, we continue to blend our expertise with our hometown pride, ensuring quality service in the heart of Janesville.
What's the best thing about being downtown?
One of the perks we love about being downtown is the sense of community that surrounds us. Getting to know our neighboring merchants has been a highlight, creating a supportive network we can rely on. Plus, being right in the heart of Janesville means we're close to everything we need. It's more than just a location; it's about feeling connected to Janesville and the diverse mix of people who make it thrive. That's what makes being downtown so special for us—it's where our business feels like part of something bigger.
