Raven’s Wish Gallery is an eclectic showcase for the creations of more than 70 painters, jewelers, photographers, and wood, glass, textile and mixed media artists. Located in historic downtown Janesville, Wisconsin, the gallery is on the corner of West Milwaukee and River Streets in a picturesque building constructed in 1929 by the S. S. Kresge Company. The gallery hosts unique events, artist exhibitions, and classes year-round.
Why did you choose to locate downtown?
Jackie Wood (Olde Town Mall) and Jim Alverson (Home Again Consignment) encouraged us to move downtown in 2011 when we were looking for more retail neighbors and a better fit for the business.
What's the best thing about being downtown?
COMMUNITY! It makes all the difference in the world to have business neighbors with similar concerns and enthusiasms. We love it downtown.
